Rachel’s Approach

Existential Psychotherapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) are surprisingly complementary approaches that blend philosophical exploration with attachment-focused, heart-centered work.

These approaches are not about giving you the answer but guiding you towards the knowledge within your moment-to-moment experience and finding the answers for yourself. This path results in longer-lasting changes, more fulfilling relationships, and a profound sense of purpose.

About Rachel (She/her)

Have you felt unchallenged by past therapy work? Despite having an intellectually stimulating career, you move through the world with a pervasive sense of apathy and purposelessness.

If you have ever asked yourself, “What’s the point of it all?” and want to explore the answers to your most confounding existential and relationship questions, I invite you to reach out. We will explore what’s underneath your experience so you can feel more peace in your relationships and gain a greater understanding of who you are and what makes life truly fulfilling.

My unique approach is contemplative and blends warmth with an unending curiosity to help you access insights and 'aha's that were inaccessible to you prior. You can expect us to delve deeply into your individual experience as well as explore how personal, philosophical, spiritual, or cultural beliefs help or hinder your happiness. Further, as we navigate the intricacies of your experience, you’ll learn to uncover your innermost wisdom and identify your most genuine self—and love who you find.
